PAWS for the Wayne County Dog Shelter

Wayne County PAWS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization, whose core mission is to provide support to the Wayne County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center. Our goal is to accomplish this through volunteerism, fundraising efforts and educational training opportunities, along with raising awareness of the necessities for the shelter and shelter animals. We are an all-volunteer organization who have a passion, and desire to assist the shelter in providing above standard care and compassion to each animal who arrives at the shelter.

Wayne County PAWS is a newly formed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide support for the stray dogs of Wayne County. Our organization believes in the work that the Wayne County Shelter is providing to our communities, and will work alongside the shelter to assist in the care and well-being of the dogs in our area. To accomplish these goals PAWS will volunteer, promote, and fundraise for the efforts of the Wayne County Dog Shelter. Funds will be raised to implement and continually operate a spay and neuter program, increase care provided to animals, and provide training to the Dog Shelter employees above and beyond basic requirements.
