If you have strong community ties and are excited to share your America with talented kids from countries as diverse as Brazil, Thailand and Sweden, becoming an International Exchange Coordinator (IEC) is the perfect opportunity for you.
IEC responsibilities include: finding host families for international high school students, helping families select a student who shares common interests, developing positive relationships with local high schools, becoming a friend and mentor to students from across the globe, and supporting host families and students throughout the year.
This opportunity is very flexible as each IEC determines the number of students to mentor (from 1 to 3 to 5+) and the amount of hours to devote each week/month. IECs can join our organization at any point throughout the year and the commitment is generally long-term (1 year plus).
