Description:  The friends organization assists the park by raising funds through membership fees, grant funding and other fund raising events. This organization also assist the park by seeking & organizing volunteers for various outdoor educational projects and events within the park. All educational programs are family oriented and free to all participants.

Mission Statement: Friends of Argyle Lake Foundation exists exclusively for non-profit purposes to promote the appreciation of Argyle Lake State Park through a balance of environmental education, recreation opportunities and conservation, while providing a link between the park and the community.
