Description:  The Friends of the Macomb Public Library is a nonprofit organization whose members promote the interests and welfare of the library. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the members.

Mission Statement: We promote the Macomb Public Library as a cultural, literary, and educational asset in our community. Funds are raised through used book sales, donations, and membership dues. The funds are used for various library related needs such as computers, special children's programs, large-print book carts for nursing homes, etc.

Clients of this agency: Membership in the Friends of the Library is open to all who want to become supporters of the library. There are different categories of membership with dues beginning at $5 for an individual membership.
