Description: The Boy Scouts of America offer four different types of youth programming. The first program is called Cub Scouts and focuses on boys age 6-11. The second is Boy Scouts which is designed for boys age 12-18. Our third program is called Venturing. Venturing is a co-ed program based around a certain hobby for youth 14-20. The fourth program is called Exploring. This program is very similar to Venturing but focuses around a career. Mission Statement: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
