The YMCA Senior Center is looking for volunteers to assist the friday drivers deliver hot meals, and sack lunches for the weekend to local seniors. Meals are delivered between 9:30 and 12:30 every Friday. Volunteers will need to come in a fill out an application form at the YMCA senior center

These are environmentally educational projects that take place outdoors so appropriate outerwear is necessary. At Horn, we rely on volunteers to assist with trail, woodland management, landscaping and prairie projects. The tasks are lead by our facilities maintenance graduate assistant, T.J. Turner. Volunteers just need to check in at the HFC office upon arrival. Refreshements will be provided.

American Red Cross McDonough County Chapter [ Agency Profile ]
The Community Liasion will educate the public at events and meetings about Red Cross services and volunteer opportunities. These events can range from speaking to school children about house fires to helping senior citizens prepare for winter weather to helping to recruit volunteers.
